The exceptional location of Rimc, the precision biodynamic farming, the triple thinning of the grapes and the weather conditions of the 2023 vintage have led to the consistency of the taste of Angel Barbera 2023. The harvest of Barbera took place on 22 September. The grapes were hand-picked and hand-selected into 15 kg crates. After 15 days of maceration, the wine was matured in 225 litre oak barrels, 50% were new and 50% used. Angel Barbera 2020, in the search for perfection of taste, contains not only Barbera of Rimc 93% but also a pinch of Merlot of Šmihel 7%. After 26 months of maturation, Angel Barbera 2023 is bottled without filtration and without purification.
