Hrastov Hrib Vrh

Hrastov Hrib Vrh

Hrastov hrib is a scaled-down version of the neighbouring Šempaski Breg, but its exposure makes it more weathered. Since 2010, we have been cultivating most of Oak Hill as tenants. This is the hill that officials parceled out on paper into micro pieces years ago. The smallest vineyard on it stretched over three or more plots. In 2016, the oak hill was compacted. At that time, we bought a few plots of Hrastov hrib Hill, which was for sale at the time. Such land is usually not offered twice in a lifetime. Most of the land has existing vineyards. Gradually, as time and money allow, we are renewing the vineyards of this hill with varieties that do not need spraying on the way to the grapes. The Hrastov Hrib Vineyard was abandoned in 2021. Today, it is under grassland cultivation. In 2024, a new vineyard will be planted on the site, which will be a signature vineyard for Marlon Hrastov Hrib.
